Where to? Romania – Bihor County in North West Romania near the Hungarian Border
When? Leaving on Saturday 9 July, returning Monday 18 July 2005. This includes an optional weekend in Budapest, as we will be flying in and out of Hungary. Flights are also available home on Saturday 16 July for those who do not wish to spend the weekend in Budapest.
With Whom? The Smiles Foundation…’a Christian charity concerned with expressing the love of Christ in a practical way to those in need around the world’.
Doing What? Opportunities for construction - from labouring, actual building, pluming and electrical work through to painting and cleaning; family visitation and food distribution and for those with medical training opportunity to work with one of the Smiles Foundation doctors; helping out with the Holiday Bible Club programme which runs for a minimum of three days on each mission trip, in one of the local villages where the Foundation supports families.

Cost? Between £650 and £850 approximately. This covers return flights to Budapest.
Numbers going? Places are limited to 20 people due to accommodation restrictions, so please speak to Brian or Liz soon if you are considering joining us.
Information evening: Tuesday, 8 February 2005 at 8.00pm in the Colhoun Room. Peter Little, the local Development Associate for the Smiles Foundation is coming along to tell us more about the Foundation, its work and the Mission Trip programmes.
