Most, if not all, home group reports have used this space as an opportunity to advertise and encourage others to join in them, this one is no exception. If you have never been to a home group then I ask you, "Do you have a really good reason why not?" It's a great place to make friends and it's a great place to learn more about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, being a Christian, the bible's teaching on real life issues…… and the list could go on.
This term, in line with Session's vision strategy for our church, we have been looking in depth at worship through Mairisine's sermons. These have been enjoyable but always thought-provoking sessions, sometimes uncomfortable as we uncover what real biblical worship means to you and me, here and now. Home groups are such a good place to both air your views and learn from others in a friendly, loving environment.
This year home groups are led by Gordon Bleakley on Mondays, Joanne McFadzean and Olwyn Guy on Tuesdays and Brenda Jardine, Kate McParland and Marie McMullan on Thursdays.
If you would like to join us, please don't wait to be asked, speak to any of the leaders, members, Sharon Bell or me. We would really love to have you join in this very important part of worship, teaching and fellowship
