We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13 v 9) and that He is still working out His Kingdom purposes through His body on earth, the Church in ways similar to the example He showed during His ministry on earth; subsequently, through His followers as we read in Acts. Whilst our primary objective is to make disciples (Matthew 28 v 19 - 20) we are clear that a vital part of the strategy is to bring people to Jesus for healing in body, mind and spirit, in keeping with Jesus' own 'mission statement' (Luke 4 v18 - 21).
We seek to do this in three main ways -
(a) Prayer Chain (see below),
(b) Praying with people spontaneously as needs arise
(c) The monthly Divine Healing Service
The Divine Healing Service is held in the church at 3.30pm on the fourth Sunday (July and December excepted). There is a time of praise, a brief reflection, a time of Intercessory Prayer for those who cannot be present in person, followed by an opportunity for personal prayer with laying on of hands. We have a team of about 25 people and up to 8 pairs will minister at a service (depending on demand!!). We give thanks to our loving Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for the many wonderful answers to prayer over past months.
We welcome your participation either by your presence at these services or in standing with us in prayer. If you are unable to be present but would like us to pray for you please submit details to Kelvin@mccracken.fslife.co.uk
